The Wellspring with David Owen Norris
A memory cycle written and performed with my father, the pianist and composer David Owen Norris, about cultural inheritance, lost stories and how we become who we are. Produced in Northampton, where my family can trace their ancestry back several centuries, this new experiment in autobiography will be a powerfully emotional homecoming gig.
We Started To Sing
A new play about family and memory that will be produced by the Arcola Theatre upon their reopening.
The Invisible Man with Derren Brown
An immersive new version of The Invisible Man for PW Productions, opening in London in autumn 2022.
My previous work for the theatre includes Nightfall (Bridge Theatre), Visitors (Up In Arms, Arcola, Bush), While We’re Here (Up In Arms, Bush Theatre, Farnham Maltings, BBC Radio 4), Eventide (Up In Arms, Arcola) and Echo’s End (Salisbury Playhouse).
I’ve also written adaptations of Lorca’s Blood Wedding (Up In Arms, Wiltshire Creative) and Ishiguro’s The Remains of the Day (Out of Joint, Northampton, Oxford).
